Der Hammer, the 32 year old former body builder from Cologne, possesses amazing strength, if somewhat limited mobility. He will be a threat to anyone he gets his hands on.
The rebel of the Dutch wrestling scene, punk rocker Ricky Van Awesome is awesome by name, awesome by nature. The 23 year old has a reputation for living life to the full outside of the ring, and has been criticized in the press for not taking life seriously enough inside it.
Vampo represents the more bizarre side of his Dutch heritage. From a village just outside of Vitesse, the 38 year old is from a blood line once rumoured to be vampires, and he takes his heritage very seriously.
Seamus O’Neill is all about rugby and wrestling. The 6’4 29 year old represented his country at youth level before joining up with his brother Jimmy in the wrestling ring.
27 year old Jimmy O’Neill loves his country and is always seen in emerald green. He has the same rugby players build as his brother, and is fiercely strong while remaining fantastically agile. His love of the fight could be perfect for the Hardcore Championship.
38 year old Peterhead native Hamish McCallister is all about brute strength. An expert with objects, the 6’6 Scotsman will be a force in the Hardcore division.
23 year old Scampy has a reputation for enjoying a drink or two. His reputation in the ring is not so established, and he has a lot of doubters within the industry.
28 year old Owen has devoted his entire adult life to making it in the business. He has wrestled across Europe and the US, and has built up a reputation as a fearless highflier. He sets his sights high though, and will probably want the Pan European Title.
Former Olympic weightlifter Erik Gustavsson dabbled in wrestling on an off for several years before meeting Jenny Lund at an Olympic training camp. The 41 year old found his enthusiasm for the business renewed and went on to train and form a team with the youngster.
Wrestling is not big business in Iceland, so 20 year old Kristian Torvursson moved to Ireland at 18, and very rapidly became a well respected competitor. Unfortunately, this bred arrogance in the youngster, and he has a habit of annoying more established stars.
31 year old Destruktor is a man mountain. Tall, heavy and surprisingly agile, the Grecian has made a name for himself all over Europe and Canada, and will be a big player in the future.
27 year old cruiserweight Stathis Lamanitis loves women and parties. Lucky for him he has a decent enough in ring ability to fund his lifestyle. He remains philosophical in the face of victory and defeat, but is a threat when he is focussed.
28 year old Jose Bruno retains that he is a cruiserweight, but has never got his weight below 223lbs. Sufficed to say, he finds himself continually annoyed at facing larger athletes, but has great ring craft and wrestling knowledge.
31 year old Miguel Conceicao is a former World’s strongest man contestant. Having failed to win the contest, he turned his attention to wrestling 5 years ago, and has risen to the top of the business in his native Portugal. He brings great momentum to the EWS.
‘The Beast’ Anto Vuckic has a reputation for hitting hard and not asking or answering questions. Seeming to enjoy the pain of others, the 31 year old is not well loved by fellow professionals, but adored by fans. The big man is a real force in the ring.
Having moved to Prague from Brasilia in his teens to pursue his football dream, Nestor Fabiano Ildemir dos Santos, or Nesinho for short, found his physical stature more suited to amateur wrestling. Before long, he was being booked and performing across Eastern Europe. He’s tall, light and strong, and will be a force in the cruiserweight division.
Former heptathlete Jakub Dvorak is a 34 year old powerhouse. A great all rounder, the Pole was a natural in the ring despite only starting in the business at the age of 29. A tremendous work ethic means he is destined for success.
32 year old qualified physician Loic Favier has a long career behind him. A highly decorated cruiserweight with a mean streak, Favier has wrestled around the world and is relentless once he sets his sights on a target.
Known as ‘The Legend’ 35 year old Didier Le’Salle is a media phenomenon in Belgium. He found his way into the limelight starring as a boxer in a prominent Belgian TV show, and was encouraged to learn the wrestling craft during his twenties. He is Belgium’s premier wrestler and most decorated title holder.
28 year old Achvili learned his wrestling craft in the USA, having fled his country during turbulent times in the 80s. He remains fiercely protective of his country of birth and passionately patriotic. His shorts are the Georgian flag and his entrance music is the national anthem.
Prince Frederic of Monaco learned to wrestle in the most expensive training facilities he could find. Yet to make an appearance with a wrestling promotion, nobody knows if the training has paid off, but his signing comes amid rumours of substantial corporate investment.
32 year old Dimitri is a lightweight brawler, famed in his native Russia for taking on athletes much his superior in size and weight, and winning. He is supremely intelligent in the ring, and his supreme self confidence means he will step down from no challenge. Trained the Ukrainian wrestler Olga Novenko but has not spoken to her for several years.
35 year old Vita Sagrinovich is a monster, plain and simple. Recognised as one of the most brutal wrestlers in Europe, his pure strength is the key to his success.
22 L’Enson is a catalogue model turned professional athlete. His career is near the beginning, and he has a lot of learning to do, but has displayed good submission skills and an understanding of the ring the belies his age so far.
Another Swiss youngster, Giulietta is a student of the game, having been wrestling since his early teens. EWS represents his first professional contract, and he will be doing all he can to prove himself.
